# Start over

Reset is optional for a member who has finished trying sample data and wants a clean workspace. It is never required merely to create an ingredient or menu.

## Explain the effect first
The reset dialog lists ingredients, preparations/BOM, menus, menu categories, sales channels, extra costs, discounts and member-created ingredient categories for removal.
It retains the default ingredient category “บรรจุภัณฑ์”; menu categories become empty. The dialog warns that recovery is unavailable.
This is a workspace data reset, not an account deletion. Do not promise that it deletes every other type of data beyond the stated scope.

## Requested and authorized reset
1. Confirm the intended workspace and that the member understands the listed data will be removed. “Help set up my shop” is not a reset instruction.
2. Open [ตั้งค่า](https://tangraka.com/settings) → “ตั้งค่าอื่น ๆ”.
3. Find “ล้างข้อมูลทั้งหมด / เริ่มต้นใหม่” → “ล้างข้อมูลทั้งหมด”.
4. Read “ล้างข้อมูลทั้งหมด?” and the actual current scope. Cancel if it differs from the authorized action.
5. Only with clear authority for this reset, click “ยืนยันล้างข้อมูล”, or let the member do so. Wait for “กำลังล้างข้อมูล...” to finish.
6. After “ล้างข้อมูลทั้งหมดเรียบร้อย”, refresh and inspect the loaded core lists and retained packaging category.

Do not click reset again because stale rows remain briefly. Do not add sample data automatically afterward or promise restoration.
